Description: used for rapid detection of infant formula and other food products. The colonies of Enterobacter sakazakii are blue-green colonies; other bacteria are colorless or yellow.

Ingredients (g / L)

Directions:

Suspend 8.62g/200mL, 121 ℃ autoclave 15min, cooling to about 50 ℃, pour into sterile petri dishes.

Procedures:

1. Inoculate 10μL mLST-Vm Broth or EE enrichment broth to coat or streak on Enterobacter Sakazakii chromogenic plates with inoculation loop.

2. Inverted place into incubator and culture at 36 ± 1 ℃ for 22-26h, typical of Enterobacter Sakazakii are blue-green colonies;

3. Select typical colonies to do biochemical tests.

Quality Control:

1. Appearance:

The dehydrate powder medium is homogeneous, having good flowability, yellowish or milky white, prepared medium is yellowish solid.

2. Microbial sensitivity test:

Incubated at 36 ± 1 ℃ 18-24h:

Storage:

The prepared plates can be kept for 2-5 days, avoid direct exposure to light. The powder medium should be placed in a dark, dry place, storage temperature 2-8 ℃, avoid direct exposure to light.

Failure:

Dry powder media which are over the shelf life, caking and color variation cannot be used.
